His band director, who he thinks highly of, as a father- takes him in. Mr. Conners realizes what happens and forces Spence to stay with him. In the end, Mr. Conners adopts Spence, and gives Spencer Conners- once Spencer Caston a chance to call someone daddy. :)

Aiden. Southern man who's had a rough life. Just came back from the war after four years. Is miserable. Saw his best friend die slowly. Quiet spoken for the most part, deep, tenor voice.
